Out of nowhere, he or she walks up and looks into your eyes.  Something in his or her eyes compels you to look back.  Dreams ensue in the next few days that let you know something wonderful has happened to you.
This is often what it is like to meet someone with whom you have deep spiritual connections.

We may not know why or where, but we know that they are familiar.  These connections can either be strongly attracting or strongly repelling.  You may also feel a gentle feeling of being familiar, such as with a friend.  Often, these connections are called soul mates.  I have found that we have many circles of soulmates in the spirit world who work with us on particular qualities or essences. You might be part of a group of "freedom fighters", those who fight injustice and dogma, a group dedicated to heart healing, as well as many more. Depending on the issue you are working on in any one lifetime, you will incarnate with those mates working on that same issue. They may appear as coworkers, teachers, students, spouses, parents or others. You will not always get along easily with all of them, but you will consistently find that each one helps you round out your rough edges in some way. For example, one of your soul mates might be your mother who dominated you, but when you are told what her purpose was, it might be something like "you needed to learn to stand up for yourself." There are those we resonate with and love deeply, and you can be assured that even if you were not able to make a life-long connection in this life, you will see that person in the spirit world greeting you with everlasting love when you leave this life. We never come here alone, without people who recognize us in Spirit.

What I have found in my work is that we are on a journey to reconnect consciously with our true spiritual selves, or our Higher Selves.  We have soulmates who help us do this.  They are able to do this because they see often what we overlook...our deeper spiritual being.  Part of the reason we are in love with them is that we know they see us.  We feel understood.  A soulmate is someone who can see you better than most other people can.

A Special Note for Those Needing Relationship Help

I do a lot of readings and healings for people regarding relationships.  I can tell you if you are experiencing pain about a relationship, the best thing is to leave matters to your Higher Self, and draw your focus away from obsessing over the loved one as much as possible.  Balance yourself by going back to your center, in whatever way that makes sense to you.  The best way to draw love into your life is to, strangely enough, walk your OWN path without actively looking for that love.  When you walk your own path, you are connecting with your own spirit's light and energy, and subsequently, the universe harmonizes with you.  I find that this works for everyone, including me.  Your personality is the part of you obsessing, while your spirit-self  knows how to let the bigger picture take over.

About Soul Mates in general:

"Your connections with your divine brethren here on earth is to help you remember the love that is yours in the world of spirit, your true home.  On earth, you feel you have to connect with this person or that person to find love.  You find that you do not like this one, but you like that one.  If you are among people you do not like, you feel unloved and alone.  In Spirit, love permeates you like the air you breathe.  There is no lack of love to be found anywhere.  The various connections you find are to rekindle your memories of your True Self.  Remember that it is Divine to know that All is One.  When we are living as separate beings, we are seeing aspects of the One".
 
 

Why is it that when you meet a particular spirit in a person, you feel drawn and in love with that person?

"That is a being with whom you have had happy experiences, who makes you feel at home, understood and seen.  There are beings we meet while in earth life who make it easier for you to tolerate the feeling of separateness, loneliness and harshness.  You help each other.  It has to be agreed on by your divine plan for the current life to have beings such as this come in.  You determine what you want to learn in any given lifetime, and this being has to fit into your overall plan.  If there is too much resonance (matching), you may give up on your plan.  If you have too much disharmony, you may lose heart.  The goal is to strike a balance...to have enough comfort of Home, and enough disharmony to work on solving".

What about Soul Families?

"There are groups of beings whom you have done work with in other lifetimes who come into your life as a cohesive group.  You may not all be in one family, but there will be ties of common work, belief systems, vicinity, etc.  There can be several of these in one lifetime, depending on how active you are in reaching out to others.  You are here to solve the apparent disharmony of earth life, to bring it in essence back to the way it is in Spirit, which is Divine Harmony.  If you are someone who is reaching out, touching many lives, you will have the help of soul families who align to help get the work done.  The feeling with these is similar to the feeling of kindred spirits...a sense of home, of recognition.  However, groups such as these form to help get work done.  They tend to have agendas, such as focusing on children, or the elderly, or the young parents in affluent societies who look for deeper spiritual guidance.  Some have goals of reaching internationally, of touching something of all human life.  Your groups help you achieve these lofty goals.  You would not be able to do this alone.  The agendas are similar to work that these beings did in other lifetimes, as well.  You meet these families when you begin the work that is their hallmark.  You may meet families who may simply support you with love on your path, but you will be ready for that support".

How do you meet the right person for you?

"You meet this person when you are ready on your path.  You will most likely not meet this person before you have begun your work as a spirit.  If you are young when you meet a "soul mate" then you have already cemented in your mind who you are, and you know generally what path you are on.  You meet kindred spirits sometimes when you do not know who you are, and these are to remind you who you are.  The best thing to do is to resolve to fulfull your soul's yearning to find Home, or to find peace.  These are examples of beginning your work.  However, remember that no one is left here alone.  There will be someone who will come into your life to help you pick up your hopes again.  You may not meet one person who remains for the rest of your lifetime, but if this is the case, you will meet several who are kindred spirits or "soul mates" (same thing), each one appropriate for the time.  You come to see yourself as quite a being, not being alone, but containing all that you need within the asking and "arm's reach".  You realize the answer does not lie outside of yourself, but within your own spiritual self, your divine connection."

Why is it that we have so much pain over relationships?

"Relationships are the very thing that present us with the paradox of separation/no separation.  We are born into a world alone, albiet into parental hands, and we leave the world alone, albiet in loving hands.  While we are here, we think we are alone unless we find love in another.  It is an illusionary fear of being alone, of being ostracized, of dying and entering an eternal abyss.  Relationships make you face that fear.  Whether you are breaking up and finding new relationships regularly or staying in one throughout your lifetime, you have your own way of dealing with facing the abyss in a relationship.  The greater the difference in your being, the more fear you are facing in being together.  There is no judgment on same sex relationships.  They are mirrors just as opposite sex relationships are.  They do the same thing: present mirrors of the opposite to a defined degree to each other.  There can be great difference even in same sex relationships.

"There is an experience on earth that does not exist in Spirit.  It is a focus and an intensity of emotion that is not present in Spirit.  To share the experience on earth with another is a sublime thing.  However, life in the spirit world is sublime, also.  It is less focused and more flowing.  There is great joy in the world of Spirit in knowing others".

How will relationships change with the Ascension?

"Those of you in relationships will see the totality of your lives together, not just this one or that one.  You will see that you are in relationship to Spirit, not just to a person or a spirit.  Unconditional love will predominate, and all will be known.  Divine humor will be unescapable, because dramas are seen as games and nothing more.  However, the experience of relationships does not disappear.  There is more joy in them as you move up in frequency".

Is there a difference seen with different levels of Ascension or dimensions?

"Those in the lower levels will be the strongest believers in polarities.  (Questioning what this means about gay relationships)  There is no need for everyone to be heterosexual or homosexual, but the trend toward understanding both sides, and a relaxing of gender identification goes with beginning to see others as spiritual beings rather than as polarized beings.  You can see how this extends to intergalactic (and interracial) relationships, as well.  People become free to be who they are, rather than the roles they are playing.  Different dramas are played out to experience all facets of being in relationship with the expression of another.  Whether you experience all facets or not, you benefit from the experiences of others who do".
 
 

About Zachariah

I first discovered him in a session with Jaculin Dorman.  She said he was my master guide at the time, and I saw him as a man of about 70, but without wrinkles.  He dressed as in Roman or Grecian times with a white tunic and sandals.  He has blue eyes that see into eternity, and white hair combed straight back.  He is surprisingly funny, extremely loving, and can be ruthlessly honest.  He does say that it is not easy to be a guide.  People are under the impression that guides run our lives and know everything.  He is multidimensional and sees everything, but he still gets stymied by following me around....so that might give you some idea of the power of free will!  He wrote the book of Zachariah in the Bible and the Qu'ran, which he says is what he did in his earth life.  He has ultimate compassion for what we are going through in our earth lives, and those who feel him often cry.  I find that any experience of true Spirit makes me cry, as the love there is so beyond love here on earth.  The really spiritual people you find in life are funny and unafraid to hold you with divine tenderness.  I see that I can hold this beautiful energy when I let my true spirit flow, such as when I am doing readings.  However, I have my stuck times like most human beings do!
